How does our mentorship model work?

Do we provide help/assist in getting scholarships?
Yes, we provide ample support in assisting students with funding opportunities including scholarships. We do the reconnaissance in researching the guidelines and norms specific to various regions. The range of scholarships our students have received is varied but the highest amount amassed was $90k by a single student.
Can I go for an MBA abroad without work experience?
The short answer is No. An MBA abroad typically requires 2-3 years of work experience. However, if you are a fresh undergraduate and still aspire for an MBA, we believe there are alternative management degrees such as MIM, MSBA, MEM and MS. Finance that you will be eligible for and will be better suited to.
What should I expect in the free session?
We believe this is your opportunity to seek counsel on whatever it is that you wish from our expert consultants. This may include a holistic assessment of your profile or delve into specifics. To truly maximise your output from the session, we advise preparing a few directional questions beforehand!
How many schools should I apply to?
We believe because the admissions process is, despite our best efforts, an unpredictable one. Thus, it is strategic to cast a wide net that makes success more probable. Therefore, we follow a band system which divides your choices into dream, target and safety colleges to compile a comprehensive list.
What if I don't get into my school of choice?
Summer schools help provide a focused academic environment with smaller classes and fewer learning hours. Because the duration of the study is limited, teachers usually set very precise study goals. It helps students gain a solid grounding in the subject matter and also network with a diverse peer group of students and faculty members at prestigious universities across the globe.
Who are the mentors we will be connected to?
Though it is highly unlikely that students are not offered admission in any of the colleges that they apply to, we take the onus for consequently, applying to 2 additional universities free of cost!
Is COVID going to hamper my plans for an international education?
While the last 2 years have brought upon us an unprecedented and unpredictable situation. However the last couple of months have seen universities abroad \allowing indian students to apply for their visas and travel to the respective countries to start/complete their college studies (if vaccination criteria are fulfilled)
Do you provide a guarantee of admission to schools abroad?
At EdLighten, we focus on setting the end-to-end processes right, which are unique for each student. These processes range from identifying the right course fit for every student and assist them in presenting their drive and motivation to the respective universities. While we do not ‘guarantee’ admissions, our method of tailoring the process for every course and student has resulted in a 95% admission rate.
